Welcome to Whimsical Sunshine Events! We’re a family business located in Denton / Corinth Tx, and our goal is to bring fun and magic to your celebrations. My  name is Kerime (Keh-ree-meh) and I am the owner and the lead face painter in our company. I have always loved making people smile and planning special events. Even back in the days, when I was a kid, I remember asking Santa Claus in 6th grade for a clown costume and an Easy Bake Oven so I could surprise my friends by dressing up as a clown and bringing a cake to their birthdays. Dressing up and making people smile has always been one of my favorite things since I was young!

Later, while in college I worked directing summer camps and after-school programs, and I graduated from UNT with a degree in Recreation and Leisure Studies, which I absolutely loved. While in college, I did face painting and balloon twisting for city events and birthday parties, and I quickly realized how much joy it brought to me and others. After graduating, I had to step away from face painting for a while, but over the years, I’ve missed it and now I’m excited to be back!

The best part has always been seeing the smiles on kids’ faces when they get their faces painted or a balloon made just for them. This is what keeps me coming back, and I can’t wait to share that joy with you!
